This page presents interesting and thought-provoking videos of destinations that I have visited, many of which are featured on anothercappuccino.com. For each video, I site the author’s name, the site where the video is published, and a brief description of the location. Enjoy!
London Bus Tour by Moritz Oberholzer. Published at http://vimeo.com/28341276. I have always enjoyed riding the buses in London. From the upper deck they provide a great view of what’s happening on the streets. One of the things I like about this video is the compilation of different architectural styles that the bus passes on its journey. The building styles are as diverse as the people. Bicycles feature quite prominently, including the “Boris bikes,” made popular by London’s previous mayor.
A walking tour of Geneva by James Norman published at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iR4VzjHxj0s. The filmmaker has done an excellent job of creating a walk around Geneva, Switzerland, and capturing the essence of this beautify city. I visited Geneva in 2015 and particularly enjoyed walking around the lake (which is actually called Lake Léman, not Lake Geneva as many people believe) and visiting the Old City area. The United Nations building (including the Palace of Nations, which was built for the old League of Nations) is also worth a visit. It’s the perfect city in which to watch the world go by while sipping a cappuccino.
